Safety, Health & Loss Prevention
It is the policy of B E S C , to perform its work in the safest manner possible consistent with sound engineering, technical and fabrication practice.
To fulfill the requirements of this policy, an organized and effective safety program must be carried out at each location where work is performed.
Responsibility of the safety program and for its enforcement is delegated to the line supervision in accordance with company policy. The presence of Safety Supervisors and staff personnel in no way relieves the line organization of its responsibility. In order for the safety program to be effective, the line supervisor must participate in the administration of the company’s safety program in full.
The objective of the safety program is the proper control of circumstances that may lead to or cause accidents or illnesses and the prevention of personal injuries and losses to equipment, plant or other property.
All work and equipment must conform to standards and instructions. Where no standard or instruction is available to cover a particular activity, the B E S C may request that the Client specify the standard of work or equipment required.
